PRESENT PERFECT CONTINUOUS TENSE

 The present perfect continuous tense (also known as the present perfect progressive tense) shows that something started in the past and is continuing at the present time. The present perfect continuous is formed using the construction has/have been + the present participle (root + -ing).

I'm tired [now] because I've been running. আমি এখন ক্লান্ত কারন আমার সব শেষ হয়ে গেছে।
Why is the grass wet [now]? Has it been raining? ঘাসগুলো কেন ভিজে? বৃষ্টি হয়েছে কি?
You don't understand [now] because you haven't been listening. তুমি আ,মার কথা এখন বুঝবে না কারন তুমি এতসময় আমার কথা শুনো নি।

I have been reading for 2 hours. (I am still reading now.) আমি ২ ঘন্টা যাবৎ পড়তেছি।
We've been studying since 9 o'clock. (We're still studying now.) সকাল ৯টা থেকে আমরা পড়ছি।
How long have you been learning English? (You are still learning now.) ক
We have not been smoking. (And we are not smoking now.)
